Senate Asphalt teams successfully completed this $81,000 milling and paving project for the US Naval District at Washington, on the grounds of Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, one of 12 joint bases located throughout the United States. Working within a one-month timeframe, teams performed profile milling of 1” to 2″ depth, removing 4,000 SY or existing asphalt. They furnished and installed 480 tons of asphalt to a replacement depth of 2” throughout the entrance and parking areas of the base complex.
