Operating within a four-month timeframe allotted by the $404,000 contract with Dulles International Airport, Senate teams completed extensive demolition, removing more than 32,000 square yards of Bituminous Airfield Asphalt. Following demolition and removal, teams repaved the blast pad portion of the runway.
